The Orta lake is a 3km distance of Miasino. and is said to be the most romantic of all Italian lakes. Walk alongside the lake and enjoy the nature. On hot summer days you can go for a swim. or practise one of the many possible water sports. Besides Miasino. you should definitely pay a visit to the island of San Giulio in the middle of the lake which can be reached from the coastal town Orta San Giulio (3km). The bigger Lago Maggiore is at a distance of 19km.
